What is GTA Radio?
An independent project that recreates the atmosphere of GTA-style radio as a continuous online listening experience, with this website documenting how it works.
Is it an official Rockstar Games project?
No. It is an independent fan and technology project and is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
Which games are covered?
Vice City, San Andreas, GTA IV and GTA V. Each has its own guide page with the stations and the character of its radio.
Does it cost anything to listen?
Listening does not require an account. Support is voluntary and explained on the support page.
Do ads play inside the radio player?
No. According to the privacy policy, ads are never shown inside the player.
Why does playback stop on my phone?
Mobile browsers save battery and pause background audio. Press play again to reconnect; the mobile page has more tips.
How is the site kept up to date?
Changes are listed on the changelog, and new articles are added over time.
How do I report a problem or a rights concern?
Use the contact page. Questions about rights or accuracy are reviewed when they are received.
Who writes the content?
I write and maintain the content myself and use AI tools as an assistant, as described on the about page.
